The tour
Understand the place, not just the dates
Burgos began beside its castle and spread towards the river. Its position on the Camino de Santiago and its commercial activity transformed the city, attracted new residents and left a legacy that still shapes the urban plan.
The tour combines visible remains with places that have disappeared, including walls, neighbourhoods, markets and pilgrims’ routes, helping present-day streets recover their historical meaning.
